Can’t afford a plane ticket when craving some unique dishes from around the world? No problem! One of the many benefits of living in Toronto is it is home to some many cultures, which brings a variety of food choices! Toronto has got it all, from classic eats from Greece and Italy to Morocco/Tunisia, Brazil, Tibet, Russia, etc. In fact you could probably go around the world without leaving the city!
With so much on info on web it can be a bit over whelming but we have provided some sites that can help! With summer coming it gives us the perfect opportunity to pick an area like little Italy or little India and to find you own personal favorites. Don’t pass up the street vendors as they can sometimes provide the yummiest dishes!! The trend of food trucks has been on the rise (Toronto hasn’t fully embraced it yet) but it’s a great concept of providing great quality food (with of course a good handful of deep fried junk!) but a great price. The show Eat St. (so far taken over Vancouver and soon to come) is a great teaser and shows us the possibilities!
Street eats is a show that goes through Toronto’s restaurants (a bit lacking in personality/flare but still welcomes the unknown)

We have found that to find the true gems you have to get out of the car and walk the neighborhoods… the best places are often tucked away and hidden from the main strips.
Bon appetite
