Fall time! Apple time!

Hot Quinoa Breakfast Cereal

Jill and I enjoyed this cereal this morning and thought we would share, as it was delicious.

 

 

 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Quinoa
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ cup thinly sliced apples
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Almond milk (optional)
  • Maple syrup/brown sugar/honey (optional)

Directions

Place Quinoa and water in sauce pan and bring to a boil.  Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.  Add apples, raisins, cinnamon and cook until all water is absorbed.  If desired serve with…
